This is an interest group for students focused on alternative protein science, technology, and business. This cuts across biotechnology, chemistry, sustainability, food systems and animal rights interest groups.
For example, this includes plant-based milk or lab-grown meat. The aim of this society is to bring interesting speakers and events to Oxford to inspire students to pursue alternative protein careers and research projects.
Furthermore, we provide career opportunities through our Slack channel and meetings with businesses and entrepreneurs in the space. We are supported by the Saïd Business School, and Charles Godfray of the Oxford Martin School
